I really enjoy photographing wildlife, however, the time you need to expend to capture decent images really does suck the patience from you at times - especially in inclement conditions.
Drove a few mile up the track today in an attempt to photograph some red kangaroos and wallaroos - but they were too quick (or was I too slow). I always find it amazing watching a kangaroo on the move. They cover vast distances at an amazing speed and the rugged terrain doesn't seem to bother them. I can see why QANTAS selected a kangaroo as their livery and not a koala!
